I've been writing a little bit when I've been slow at work. I've been brainstorming some song titles and saving them to my notes. I wrote something just now, and I really liked how it turned out, so I wanted to share what I just wrote. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read what I write. I appreciate it!
"All I Had"
You were all I had,
Through the black and white,
Through all the sleepless nights,
You were all I had,
To keep me safe,
From all the demons in my mind,
You were all I had,
Now you're gone,
Now you're gone
You promised me forever,
But you broke that promise,
You were the one who held the gun,
And pulled the trigger,
I should have known better,
To give you a chance,
Now I'm lying here all alone,
Crying my eyes out,
With a broken heart
You were all I had,
Through the black and white,
Through all the sleepless nights,
You were all I had,
To keep me safe,
From all the demons in my mind,
You were all I had,
Now you're gone,
Now you're gone
Look me in the eyes,
When you tell me goodbye,
Look me in the eyes,
As you watch me fall,
Are you happy now?
Did you get what you wanted?
Look me in the eyes,
As you walk away,
Look me in the eyes,
As you're apologizing,
Are you happy now?
Did you get what you wanted?
Now that you've seen me cry,
Now that you've seen me CRY!
You were all I had,
Through the black and white,
Through all the sleepless nights,
You were all I had,
To keep me safe,
From all the demons in my mind,
You were all I had,
Now you're gone,
Now you're gone
You were all I had,
Now I don't think about you,
You were all I had,
Now you're dead to me,
You were all I had,
Now you're nothing to me
Now you're nothing to me

I saw Linkin Park on August 11th, 2025, in Chicago, IL, at The United Center, and I had the time of my life. It was bittersweet seeing them without Chester, but Emily killed it! She was awesome! I enjoyed it so much! It was such an awesome night! ...
This band has really brought life to me. Ever since I've discovered them a few years ago on the Trinity of Terror tour part 3, I've been a huge fan. I joined this wonderful app because of INK, and I've met some amazing friends because of this app. I'm so thankful for this band, this app, the crew members, and everyone who is associated with INK. I've seen INK 6 times now, but last night in East Moline, IL was and will forever be the best show I've ever seen of theirs. Every show is wonderful, but last night, it was my nieces first time seeing INK and meeting the band. She had such a blast! She also got the barricade, and she caught a sword balloon that Art The Clown threw at her. She grabbed that balloon as tight as she could so nobody else would take it from her, but everyone around her saw she was a kid and didn't try fighting it away from her. She's a happy kid that she got to meet the band and Spencer finally. She loved it so much she can't wait to meet Spencer again. It was such a heartwarming moment for me. I love INK, and I'll always support them in everything that they decide to do. ...
8 years, and it still hurts like I found out about it just yesterday. The voice of my generation. All of Chester's songs resembled me. What I was or what I'm still going through. I never cried so much over a celebrity death ever. The wound still hurts 8 years later. R.I.P. Chester! ...
