It’s International Asexuality Day, Psychos!
Today is most definitely a day of awareness as it’s a little know sexuality and approximately 1%-10% of the population may be on the ace spectrum. I this is my 5th year “out of the closet” as I only discovered this about myself back in 2021. It’s also the 5th anniversary of this day cuz surprisingly I learned about asexuality only a week before this day became a thing.
Anyways I left a few infographics and pics to further explain what Asexuality is and all the other labels under the Ace umbrella. 🖤🩶🤍💜

In case I wasn’t clear yesterday I am a diagnosed autistic ADHD (shortened to AuDHD) adult. I was diagnosed as a child with the latter and got my evaluation/diagnosis as a teen for Asperger’s (which is also problematic in of itself). As of the most recent diagnosis criteria Asperger’s has been lumped in with some other diagnoses under the Autism Spectrum.
I usually don’t share this much info about myself on here but I feel you all are a safe space to be myself so thank you. You Psychos are INKredible! 🖤🖤🖤🖤

If you wanna post about Autism Acceptance (not Awareness) we are all aware we need acceptance and support. Please don’t use the puzzle piece iconography. It’s associated with Autism Speaks which is about eugenics and trying to cure autism like it’s a disease. It doesn’t have the best intentions with autism and it’s low key high key offensive to support them if you truly want to be an ally to autistic people.
Instead try using the infinity sign ♾️ it’s much better iconography for autistic people and shows acceptance in a better way.

Goodies from the street fair. I had fun but there wasn’t much there that really interested me. Got the tiny glass pumpkin from a glass artist booth and the barro negro (black clay) crow figure from a Mexican art import booth. I also got some treats from a food vendor and the local bakery. Had some lunch at a local eatery. Got their new Churro Cake oh it was sooo good! All in all it was a fun day! ...

I finished reading Sunrise on the Reaping last night! You all I was balling my eyes out! This story kinda broke my heart and I absolutely loved every moment of it! I don’t wanna give a review cuz I might spoil it for those who plan to read but haven’t yet. So I’ll keep this briefs. I throughly enjoyed reading this book and it definitely broke me out of my reading slump as I’ve already started another book.
The only thing about this latest Hunger Games book that I disliked I guess was the structure. I thought it would be more like Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes however this story solely focused on the reaping and full 50th games with every detail explored. For example I thought the first part would be the 50th games second part about being the victor for 24 years and third part him doing stuff behind the scenes during Katniss games. This was not what happened.
Overall I really enjoyed this book and I hope you get a chance to read it or even go watch the move when I come out some time in the next year or so. Or if u haven’t get into the Hunger Games books cuz these are seriously one of the best dystopian YA novels ever. I’ll rate this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
