Mental health is something we should not joke about or ignore. Whether it be your spouse, parents, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, etc. We have problems and it's hard to fix them and to express them. Instead of judging or getting mad/upset at someone, understand them. If they can't talk, that's ok. They're not ready to let all their emotions out. I'll be honest, I'm mentally not ok. I am still trying to open up to my parents about it. Is it hard for me and them? Yes, but they are doing their best to listen and understand. Even if I can't answer, they try to understand and wait till I'm ready to talk. Yes it's a touchy subject and people probably have it worse than me, but it's best we try and understand them instead of judging or being upset at them. The moral of the story is: We are not ok. We are not mentally there. We are emotional. And at the end of the day, it's all ok. We try and try and as long as you support and understand, we will open up and ask for help when we are readyπͺπͺπ€π€π«π«π₯°π₯°
