Today's been a long day... Spending most of the day cleaning for Easter, then hitting the gym in the evening...Now finally some time to relax 😌
I will be watching this classic, probably crack open a cold one and just relax for a few hours before sleep 🪚🍻

This spotlight is on both the band itself and Marilyn himself I think that makes sense
Day 1/7 I think Marilyn Manson needs no introduction he's infamous, and I'm sure we all know the band is Shock Rock, Industrial Metal, and Goth Metal and my 8th favorite band ever
The bands gone through many members, but here's the current lineup:

While Mansons inspiration came from Shock Rock and controversial musicians such as Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osbourne, The Doors, Iggy Pop, and Arthur Brown he's said his biggest inspiration was David Bowie who he says changed his life forever

I'm going with my favorite Manson song Tourniquet off the 1996 album Antichrist Superstar
Not only are the instruments great but I really love the lyrics in this song like the chorus "Take your hatred out on me, make your victim my head, you never ever believed in me" then the final chorus that adds "I'm not proud with me
I never, ever believed in me"
I also really like the intro where it says in Reverse "This is my lowest point of vulnerability"
It's an awesome song with a great music video I love the bands videos

"Echoes" A Horror Story Part 7/8
Marnie leads the Detective into the House "We just have to wait till sometime after 9PM and you'll see"
"Ugh huh and when we get to 9 I'll see what a Ghost... and the Ghost it's what killed your Husband?" She asks looking at Marnie like she's lost her mind
"No it wasn't a Ghost, it was an Echo last year that family that went missing and those 3 Guests they were killed here and now it replays, I know how it sounds, but you'll see" Marnie tries to explain what it is
The Detectives both give each other a look before stepping to the side
"So she's lost her mind right?" The older one says mockingly
"Easy she just lost her husband she's probably in shock, I'll stay here in case the Guy comes back and you go check if anyone saw anything"
As her Partner leaves she takes a seat in the Kitchen
"Listen you can't stay here this is a Crime Scene now, I'll take you back to the Station you'll be safe there"
"Okay but just come back here around 9 please Detective" Marnie tries to convince her
"Fine if you come with me I'll come back here later, and you can call me Beth"
Marnie leaves with her back to the Station giving up, as they drive back no one notices the Car tailing behind them
As Marnie gets down with Beth to give a statement the Man walks into the Station taking a seat where he can keep an eye on Marnie, he can't be too sure what she knows
Hours go by no one paying much attention to him in the waiting area, until Beth steps out
"Can't believe I'm doing this" Beth stares at the clock
Minutes go by with nothing at first as it hits 9:28 she starts to hear footsteps upstairs
She draws her gun heading upstairs she sees The Masque carrying a bag of limbs
"Stop right there! Drop the bag" She orders but he doesn't "I'm warning you"
She fires watching it go through the Man, he walks right through her going downstairs
"What the f*ck?" She watches the Echo vanish

Today is world sarcoidosis awareness day. I had been seeing a rheumatologist for a couple years prior but after it attacked my eyes and vision causing a disease called pars planitis almost making me go blind I had a biopsy and got diagnosed with sarcoidosis shortly before 2020 about a month or so before all hell broke loose in America. After allot fighting trying out different treatments during a very difficult time in history, my care team found something that stabilized my vision, which eventually regained my vision, which is now very close to normal again. I am stable however on occasion it does limit me having a rare respiratory disease and it did cause me to take a silent bow from allot of things in life like my music stuff that I was doing, even things like spending to much time in the sun without hosing myself with sunblock every hour cuz of the meds I'm on and that's just a couple things.
