Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) of the Russian Foreign Ministry (MGIMO) is one of the leading Russian and world universities, training specialists in 18 areas. It is a subordinate educational institution of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
In 2000, the university was included in the so-called "big three" Russian universities in the legal field. The university has 13 faculties, a lyceum, a college and 2 branches.
